UTM OISE Higher Education Internship

About the Program

Looking to complement your academic learning with hands-on professional experience in student affairs and services? The UTM OISE Higher Education Internship is a unique paid opportunity designed exclusively for OISE students enrolled in a Master’s level program in higher education.

OISE students are paired with a professional staff member from one of UTM’s Student Affairs and Services or partner departments for a tailored project-based internship experience. Projects are based on departmental need and the skillset of the intern, so no two experiences are alike!

Students complete the LHA1858H (Internships in Student Services 1) course alongside their internship project over one or two semesters. The internship requires 7-12 hours of work per week (usually, one full day with the selected department).
