VoIP Service migration to MS Teams
Microsoft Teams Phone is the University’s new VoIP solution for making and receiving phone calls. Teams Phone has replaced the Communicator 7 soft client application, which is no longer supported.

Staff and faculty who have individual VoIP lines will be migrated to Teams Phone in a phased schedule by division/department. The migration to Teams Phone individual VoIP line is expected to be complete in Aug 2024.

Teams Phone is primarily for individuals with single VoIP lines. Currently, it is not meant for complex, multi-line calling environments (i.e., hunt groups, call centers, auto-attendant).
While all MS Teams users can currently place calls to other Teams users, Teams Phone will integrate your existing U of T phone number into Teams and enable a dial pad feature, along with other popular VoIP features listed above.

The project, pertaining to UTM, will take into consideration the 1300 DIDs (approx.) from various departments which will be migrated to MS TEAMS throughout 2024. (The exception will be centralized or common area numbers that will remain untouched and continue to operate as is, until further notice).

Digital Modernization - MCaPS and MYFP Client Experience and Process ImprovementsThe Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) work for the Multi-Year Financial Planning (MYFP) and MCaPS initiatives focused on implementing a structured intake, prioritization, and decision-making framework that allow for project alignment  with institutional strategic goals. Through stakeholder engagement and process development, this work supported the refinement of governance processes and enabled clearer visibility into project interdependencies, capacity planning, and resource allocation. Leveraging ServiceNow and enterprise SPM methodologies, the effort enhanced transparency and provided a foundation for sustainable, data-informed project evaluation within the broader UTM and tri-campus planning context.• Build Efficient and Sustainable OperationsI&ITS, FM&P, BP&F LaunchedOn Track
