Campus Strategic Projects & Initiatives Inventory

The purpose of the UTM Strategic Projects & Initiatives Inventory is to provide a centralized and transparent interface for the active and planned projects and initiatives that are key to achieving UTM’s strategic vision and to demonstrate our progress towards our priorities.

What projects and initiatives are included in the inventory?

  • Projects or Initiatives that are scheduled for implementation during the current fiscal year, AND
  • Projects/initiatives with an implementation timeline of 6 months or longer OR a budget of $50,000 or more
  • Does not include regular campus operations

How often is the inventory updated?

This inventory will be updated at the start of each term (January, May, September), beginning in May 2023. Completed projects are archived from the Inventory once two terms have passed since completion.

How can I add a project to the inventory?

Each pillar lead will be prompted every quarter to add to, edit, or update their entries. If you feel that something is missing or incorrect, please contact utm.pmo@utoronto.ca for assistance.

UTML Special Collections Storage and Preservation FacilityThe UTML Special Collections Storage and Preservation Facility at UTML will include compact shelving to maximize volume of material per square foot, a conservation space for processing and treating materials, and a digitization area to create preservation and access copies to ensure the long-term sustainability of the collections for current and future use. The valuable special collections owned by the UTML are currently held in secure offsite storage via a third party. The current risks include loss, damage, and theft. The materials are frequently transported between the offsite storage and the UTM campus, which also increases the risk of loss, damage, and theft to the most-requested items. The development of a climate-controlled environment with a conservation treatment area will protect the materials for long term use and minimize the risk of rapid deterioration.• Build Efficient and Sustainable OperationsLibraryOVPP; UTM FM&PLaunchedOn Track
