University of Toronto Mississauga Association of Graduate Students (UTMAGS)
The University of Toronto Mississauga's Association of Graduate Students (UTMAGS) represents all graduate students at UTM, including those in M.Sc., M.A., M. Biotech., MMI, BMC, and Ph.D. programs. UTMAGS is made up of students from various fields who work together to improve the academic and social experience for everyone at UTM.
Independently as well as in collaboration with other UTM graduate groups and offices, UTMAGS organizes a variety of fun and engaging events for graduate students to connect, network, and enjoy, such as orientation, social nights, holiday parties, off-campus retreats, and much more.
UTMAGS also advocates for the needs of graduate students, representing their interests at the Graduate Students’ Union, Quality Service to Students Council, and other UTM committees. UTMAGS focuses on improving areas related to housing, food services, and transportation, including the MiWay Transit U-Pass program.
Whether raising concerns or hosting events, UTMAGS ensures that your graduate school experience at UTM is both rewarding and enjoyable!

Biology Graduate Student Society (BGSS)
The Biology Graduate Student Society (BGSS) represents all graduate students within the Department of Biology at UTM, including those in the Biology (Master's and PhD) and Biomedical Communications (BMC) programs. BGSS members come from diverse labs, backgrounds, and stages of their degrees, working collaboratively with faculty and various departmental committees to foster and continually improve the academic and social life of the department. BGSS's main goal is to enhance the community amongst department graduate students at UTM.
Events run by BGSS include but are not limited to: a welcome event to introduce incoming students to their new community at the start of the academic year; a fall retreat to the Koffler Scientific Reserve to enjoy nature and meet new friends; an annual cross-departmental Science Gala; and periodic events throughout the year such as coding workshops, Go-Karting, horseback riding, trivia nights, and grad student research talks.

Chemical and Physical Sciences Graduate Student Association (CPS GSA)
Chemical and Physical Sciences Graduate Student Association is a student group that represents all graduate students within the Chemical and Physical Sciences Department at UTM. Our aim is to collaborate with faculty, other students within the department, and staff to promote and enhance both the academic and social life on campus. We have hosted numerous events including Play Day, ROM trip, Pumpkin Carving Competition and Halloween Events, Professional Development Nights, Christmas Week Events, St. Patrick Event, and much more!

Geography, Geomatics and Environment Graduate Student Committee
The GGE Graduate Student Committee represents and supports graduate students within the Department of Geography, Geomatics and Environment. The committee organizes the weekly research presentations, assists with departmental events such as the September orientation, and plans graduate-only social and professional development activities throughout the year. It also contributes to broader departmental outreach and community engagement initiatives.
Institute for Management & Innovation Student Council (IMISC)
IMISC is comprised of representatives from 6 IMI programs: MMPA, MMI, MBiotech, MScSM, MUI, and MScBMC.
As a student led group, IMISC aims to create an interdepartmental community where graduate students from all corners of science, business and technology can build connections and broaden their networking circles. Individual programs at IMI do an excellent job at giving their students an exposure to the workforce, through alumni events, internships, and interactive class projects etc. IMISC enhances these program strengths, and is committed to furthering the student experience by offering cross disciplinary interactions and conversations..
IMISC's goal is to give students an opportunity to broaden their networking circles and build contacts with current and future IMI graduate students.

OS & OT Student Association
The OS & OT Student Association acts as a liaison between the students enrolled in University of Toronto’s Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy program, University of Toronto, and external organizations such as Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists (CAOT) & Ontario Society of Occupational Therapists (OSOT).
