Citrix Workspace for Mac OS installation

Download the Citrix Workspace App

For first-time users, you will need to download a program called 'Citrix Workspace App' here.  If you have already installed the program, please proceed to the “Login and Use WLP (UTMcitrix)" step.

Make sure to download the app version suitable for your OS version. As of May 2021, Citrix Workspace App 2104 is compatible with MacOS 10.15, Mac OS Big Sur 11.0.1, Mac OS Big Sur 11.1.1, Mac OS Big Sur 11.2, Mac OS Big Sur 11.3.1.

How to check which macOS version your Mac is running

  1. Click on the Apple logo in the top-left corner of the screen. 
  2. In the drop-down menu that appears, click on "About This Mac."

Check macOS

For the previous Mac OS version

  1. Go to https://www.citrix.com/downloads/workspace-app/
  2. Click "Workspace app for Mac".
  3. Click "Earlier versions of Workspaces app for Mac" and find a suitable version for your Mac OS version.

Install the Citrix Workspace App

  1. Double click on the downloaded installer.
  2. Click Start

  3. Check "I accept the licence agreement" and click Next

  4. Click Install

  5. Click Cancel.  Do not click "Add Account".

Proceed to “Login and Use WLP (UTMcitrix)".
