Pathways To Kindness Conference Summary Report

From August 22–24, 2024, the conference, Pathways to Kindness: Promoting Refugee and Newcomer Children’s Health and Flourishing, was held at the University of Toronto Mississauga. The conference was hosted by the Centre for Child Development, Mental Health, and Policy, in collaboration with St. Francis Xavier University and the Rohingya Centre of Canada, and was dedicated to sharing and discussing research, practice, and policy efforts aimed at promoting positive social and emotional development in refugee and newcomer children, with a focus on the Rohingya community.
