U of T to get more graduate spaces

The University of Toronto will soon have an increased number of graduate student spaces as part of a provincial initiative to expand graduate education provincewide.

John Milloy, the minister of training, colleges and universities, announced June 7 that the Ontario government is creating 6,000 new spaces for students to enrol in master's and PhD programs at universities across the province by 2015-16. The number of spaces allotted to U of T will be announced at a later date.
