The applications portal is open through the link below!  

Applications will be reviewed in the order that they are received so an early application maximizes the chances of securing a seat in the program. Admission is highly competitive and based on a comprehensive review of all application components.

What You’ll Need to Apply

When the application portal opens, you’ll be asked to upload the following materials so please prepare them in advance:

1)Letter of RecommendationFrom a current supervisor or senior officer who can speak to your leadership potential and healthcare contributions.
2)ResumeHighlighting your professional background, with a focus on healthcare-related experience
3)Short Video 
(1–2 minutes)
Introducing yourself and reflecting on your current role and experience in the healthcare sector and why you would like to attend this program.
4)Project Component

A key feature of this program is the design and/or implementation of a workplace-based healthcare improvement project. You’ll apply course concepts directly to a real challenge in your organization, sector, or community.

As part of your application, you'll answer a few short questions about a project/application you'd like to explore during the program to address a challenge you are facing. CLICK HERE to view the questions and prepare in advance.

Eligibility

  • Applicants must hold an undergraduate degree.
    If accepted, you will be required to submit proof of your degree prior to the start of the program.

Scholarship

This program is offered by the University of Toronto in partnership with the Mastercard Foundation. All participants selected for the program will receive a full scholarship, covering all tuition costs.

Program Acceptance

Applicants will be informed about the status of their application via email.


Assessment and Certification

Upon conclusion of ALL segments of the program (90% attendance is required), all participants will need to complete a final project that will be assessed as pass/fail. Upon successful completion of the program, each participant will be eligible for a Certificate of Completion.
