DVSSS Election Announcement

Election season is finally here! This is a formal email notice that elections are approaching, and as an active member of the Department of Visual Studies, we encourage you to participate.

As an executive member of the DVSSS, you will have the opportunity to get involved in planning and organizing events for students in DVS and the wider UTM campus. You will work in a dedicated team to give back to your peers, meet new people, and support the campus community. 

The election season timeline is as follows:

• Nomination Period: March 11 to 15
• Campaign Period: March 18 to 22
• Voting Period: March 27 to 29

The positions available for election are:

• President Vice President, Internal Affairs
• Vice President, Finance
• Secretary
• Advertising & Communications Director 
• Social Director
• Academic Director 
• Program Liaisons (3):
  • Art and Art History (includes Art History) 
  • Visual Culture and Communication 
  • Cinema Studies
