AI Poster Contest

Join the Academic Integrity Unit (AIU) in kicking off the school year with a Poster Contest! All UTM undergraduate students are invited to submit posters on the theme of academic integrity. There are 5 generous cash prizes up for grabs.

Posters submissions must be emailed to academicintegrity.utm@utoronto.ca under the subject title AIU Poster Contest – 2020.

Winners will be announced on Friday, November 13th - Follow us on Instagram @AIU_UTM to find out if you won!

Poster must be on one or more the following themes:

  • Plagiarism
  • Unauthorized aid
  • Forgery
  • Cheating

Prizes

Up to 2 entries per person will be accepted and you can win up to 2 prizes!

  • One first place prize of $250;
  • Two second place prizes of $175; and
  • Two third place prizes of $100.  

 Entry Rules

  • Only UTM Undergraduate students may enter
  • Up to 2 entries per person will be accepted
  • The poster design must be your original work
  • The deadline for submission has been extended to 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 5, 2020

Submission Requirements

Two versions for each submission is required:

  • Instagram Post: Portrait Photo (aspect ratio 4:5) 1080 x 1350px or Square Photo (aspect ratio 1:1) 1080 x 1080px
  • Poster for print:
    • 11x17 (tabloid) or
    • 8.5x11 (paper)

  • Visual Appeal
  • Originality

Acknowledgment

By entering this contest, the participant promises that the artwork they have submitted is their original work, that they have not copied it or had any assistance with it other than by an acknowledged co-entrant (if any). If you win you will, on terms acceptable to the University, assign any and all interests in the submitted work, including copyright, and waive interests not capable of assignment, including moral rights, in the manner directed by the university. Winners may be asked to provide alternate formats of their design. By entering, the participant also understands and acknowledges that if they fail to accept the University’s terms for such assignments and waiver they will forfeit the prize and recognition associated therewith.
