How to Register
Secure your spot for the upcoming year by either paying your fees directly, or deferring your fees if you have applied for a government student loan, or are receiving a scholarship.

Paying Your Fees
- Check your invoice on ACORN and find your minimum amount to register.
- Choose your preferred method of payment if you are in Canada, or outside of Canada via Convera or Flywire.
- Wait for your payment to process. This can take 3-5 business days or up to 14 business days for payments made outside of Canada. We recommend that you keep a receipt or screenshot of your payment.
- Monitor your ACORN account. Once your payment is received, your registration status will change from "invited" to "registered".
Deferring Your Fees
If you applied for a government student loan, or you're receiving a U of T scholarship that is equal to, or greater than your minimum amount to register, you can submit a fee deferral request on ACORN.
We understand that in these circumstances, you may not have access to your funding by the registration deadline. By submitting a fee deferral, we will register you for the upcoming year. Once classes begin, you will be responsible for paying your fees by the financial deadlines.

Financing Your Education
There are a number of ways that students can mix and match financial resources to help pay for their education. Here are some examples:
- Student loans for Canadian and U.S. students
- Entrance scholarship recipients will have their award credited to their ACORN account in October.
- If you have a registered education savings plan (RESP), and plan to withdraw funds to pay for your tuition, download your Confirmation of Enrolment Letter for free on ACORN after you enrol in courses.
- Finding part-time work on-campus is a great way to earn money and get involved with your community through meaningful work experiences.
