The Office of Indigenous Initiatives at UTM provides broad-spectrum support to the campus community in fulfilling the University of Toronto's 34 Calls to Action. Examples of assistance the OII can provide to UTM staff, faculty, and librarians include:

  • Help with integration of Indigenous content and Truth and Reconciliation in written materials, presentations, and coursework
  • Strategic support in recruitment initiatives targeting Indigenous staff, faculty, students, and librarians
  • Advice on involving Indigenous community in research or art projects
  • Suggestions for Indigenous guest speakers and guidance on honorariums for those speakers
