Introducing Dr. Ninon Meyer, PostDoctoral Fellow
On International Women's Day, we are excited to introduce to the world Dr. Ninon Meyer, PostDoctoral Fellow, in Dr. Helene Wagner's Lab.
I’m a wildlife ecologist and conservationist, focusing on the spatial ecology of large terrestrial mammals and landscape connectivity. I particularly enjoy working with local Indigenous people whose knowledge is extremely valuable in wildlife studies.
Currently, I’m a postdoc in Helene Wagner’s lab working on a NSERC Alliance project that aims to remove barriers to the implementation of landscape connectivity in land planning in Alberta. This is a collaboration with Hossam Hafez (from the Wagner’s lab) and local partners.
