Critters in the Creek

McCauley Lab is running an outreach day (Critters in the Creek) this Saturday (May 4) up in Shaw's Creek, on the Grange property in Alton, ON.  

The McCauley lab will be educating members of the public about the aquatic invertebrates in the headwaters of the Credit River and in some of the ponds in the area as well.  We'll have live invertebrates to look at as well as equipment so folks can see what's involved in monitoring these streams.  We're in the Grange from 11-4 on Saturday with displays and people to answer questions and help kids and others to try their hand at a little aquatic ecology. 

It's free and open to the public.
