SPECIALIST IN MATHEMATICS

The Mathematical Sciences Specialist program at the University of Toronto Mississauga provides students with a solid foundation in the fundamental theoretical aspects of the mathematical sciences along with a broad range of techniques for applying this theory.


MAJOR AND MINOR IN MATHEMATICS

The Major and Minor Programs in Mathematical Sciences consist largely of mathematics courses, and may be combined with programs in other subjects.


SUBJECT POSt (Program) ENROLMENT ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

The Mathematics Minor is a Type 1 or "open enrolment" program with no entry requirements. The Mathematics Specialist and Major are both Type 2 programs. For more information on program types, see the Program Selection Guide on the Office of the Registrar website.

The Academic Calendar lists all the entry requirements for the Mathematics Specialist and Major, except for the CGPA. The required minimum CGPA  for both the Mathematics Specialist and Major programs was 2.4 for 2021 program entry. Check back on this website no earlier that March 2022 to learn what the minimum required CGPA will be for 2022 program entry.
