Applications will be reviewed in the order that they are received. Apply early to maximize your chances of admission. Admission is highly competitive and based on a comprehensive review of all application components.

Who Can Apply?
This program is designed for healthcare managers and medical professionals based in Africa who are looking to strengthen their leadership and management skills.
- Healthcare managers, administrators, doctors, and nurses working in hospitals, clinics, or government health agencies across Africa
- Candidates must hold an undergraduate degree
- Candidates must be affiliated with one or more of the following Africa Health Collaborative partner institutions.

What You’ll Need to Apply
When the application portal opens, you’ll be asked to upload the following materials so please prepare them in advance.
Letter of Recommendation
From a current supervisor or senior officer who can speak to your leadership potential and healthcare contributions.
Resume
Highlighting your professional background, with a focus on healthcare-related experience (please use this template

Short Intro Video
1-2 minute video introducing yourself and reflecting on your current role and experience in the healthcare sector and why you would like to attend this program.
Responses to Short Answer Questions
As part of your application, you'll answer a few short questions about a project you will work on during the program to address a healthcare challenge you are facing.

Frequently Asked Questions
Fully Funded Scholarship
This program is offered by the University of Toronto in partnership with the Mastercard Foundation. All participants selected for the program will receive a full scholarship, covering all tuition costs.
Program Acceptance
Applicants will be informed about the status of their application via email.
Assessment and Certification
Upon conclusion of ALL segments of the program (90% attendance is required), all participants will need to complete a final project that will be assessed as pass/fail. Upon successful completion of the program, each participant will be eligible for a Certificate of Completion.
