Dr. Bodo's research interests include land–atmosphere interactions, with a particular focus on peatlands and forest ecosystems. She is especially passionate about combining ecosystem-scale monitoring with modelling to investigate ecological thresholds and climate-adaptive strategies. More broadly, Dr Bodo teaches courses on sustainability and environmental project management, providing students with tools to engage critically with real-world challenges. Her pedagogical interests emphasize experiential learning and peer-to-peer strategies, encouraging students to examine complex social and environmental issues from multiple perspectives.
