CSACH seeks dynamic, mutually beneficial community partnerships with legal clinics, agencies, arts collectives, cultural organizations, schools, health centres and potential donors. The Centre is distinguished by its emphasis on university-community partnerships —the reciprocal relationship of faculty and students working with local communities along with institutions and scholars within various South Asian communities.

We are sincerely committed to providing access to resources for teaching about South Asian Critical Humanities to interested organizations and individuals, as well as to public and private educational institutions and boards that would like to incorporate South Asian studies into their curricula. We also seek to cultivate and foster contacts between students and faculty at the University of Toronto and their counterparts in South Asia.
