SSHRC Proposal Peer Review Sessions for Faculty

Applying for a SSHRC grant this year or in early 2026? It's always a good idea to have your proposal or application read by peers, particularly those outside of your own discipline. Join CDRS for supportive peer-review sessions where you will be asked to review colleagues' proposals, and have your proposal reviewed in advance of upcoming SSHRC deadlines.
Two upcoming sessions will be offered on:
December 2, 2:00-4:00PM
January 13, 10:00-12:00PM
If you plan on attending the December 2nd peer-review session, you will be asked to submit your proposals to cdrs.admin@utoronto.ca by 11:59pm EST November 25th. You will be placed into groups roughly corresponding to disciplines, and you will be asked to read each others' proposals. By November 26th, you will receive one to two colleagues' proposal to read and you will have one week to read and make comments on their proposal. You will have the chance to share your comments in small groups of 2-3 which will be shared during the peer-review session on December 2nd from 2:00- 4:00pm EST via Zoom.
The same format will be followed for the other sessions.
