Ernest Hamzaj Wins The Pynn Family Paleontology Award

We are excited to announce that Ernest Hamzaj won The Pynn Family Paleontology Award, for having achieved high academic standing and for their interest in the field of paleontology.

Ernest Hamzaj is a 3rd year undergraduate student at the University of Toronto Mississauga.

"I am in the Life Science program, pursuing a paleontology and health sciences double major. As an undergraduate student, there's always some level of uncertainty about your future. Admissions to postgraduate programs, research opportunities, the job market, all serve as major contributors to the stress that students like me face. To win an award like this is extremely special. It tells me that I am on the right path, pursuing goals that mean something to me. Ever since I was a kid, I dreamed of being a paleontologist, and to be recognized for my academic achievements, particularly with this award, is a big step towards that dream. I want to give my deepest thanks to the Pynn family, not only for this award, but for their generosity, and their contributions to my academic career." wrote Hamzaj
