Join us for Dinner with 12 Strangers at The Wilcox Gastropub, a brand-new place nestled in central Mississauga. Sit down to dinner with 12 strangers and leave with 12 new University of Toronto Mississauga alumni connections.  You'll even meet restaurant co-owner and UTM alumnus Joseph Le.

Similar to The Wilcox, we intend to bring together and host people who are drawn to the art of gastronomy and drink. From a prix fixe menu, enjoy an appetizer, entree, dessert and a glass of wine while meeting others from the UTM community.

This event is sold out.

$30 per person. Tickets must be purchased online in advance and are non-refundable. 

Choice of appetizer:
      Bang bang tiger shrimp with fresh plump shrimp tossed in a house made Thai sweet chili sauce
      Confit duck sliders with brioche mini buns, pulled duck, orange gastrique and celery root slaw
      Pulled pork sliders with pulled pork, red cabbage slaw and pickled jalapeños
Choice of salad:
      Caeser salad with romaine hearts, radicchio, candy bacon, shaved padanno, roast garlic, preserved lemon and focaccia croutons
      The Wilcox Salad with mixed greens, quinoa, sweet apples, walnuts, sesame seeds topped with a citrus vinaigrette
Choice of entrée:
      Braised short ribs with heirloom tri-colour carrots, roasted potatoes and black trumpet mushroom jus
      Chicken pot pie with chicken simmered with maple bacon, button mushrooms, pearly onions, herbs and cream with a puff pastry lid
      Mac n' cheese with cavatappi noodles, cheese curds, cream sauce and a crispy buttered panko crust
      The Wilcox BBQ Burger with pepper crusted Wilcox chuck, crispy onions, roasted red pepper aioli, goat cheese, arugula and a sunny side up egg
Choice of dessert:
      Churros, a traditional Spanish doughnut sprinkled with cinnamon sugar with warm dark chocolate sauce
      Ice wine cold soufflé with poached apple featuring Cave Spring Riesling Ice Wine, granny smith apples, vanilla bean and cinnamon
      Crème brûlée, the classic egg custard with vanilla bean, strawberry coulie and rosemary shortbread
