Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and to ensure that all students can equitably access the program, the University of Toronto Mississauga's Academic Culture and English Program (ACE@UTM) will be delivered online only, until further notice.

Summer ACE@UTM Online Program

Newly admitted students who have not met UTM English language proficiency requirement will be offered the Summer ACE@UTM program as a condition of their admission. This is a full-time Academic English Language program offered over the 8-week period. It is designed to prepare students for academic studies in September.

We highly recommend the Summer program option for most students as it allows them to complete the language requirements prior to beginning their academic studies in September.

Academic English Course

All Summer ACE@UTM students will complete the Academic English Level 60 course. Your final grade in the course will determine whether you have satisfied the English Language requirement listed on your offer of admission, as well your eligibility to take courses at U of T Mississauga in the Fall-Winter session.
