Congratulations to Professors Ron Buliung (Department of Geography, Geomatics and Environment), Robert Gerlai (Department of Psychology), and Vice-Principal, Research Kent Moore (Department of Chemical & Physical Sciences) for being among the latest faculty members awarded the title of U of T Distinguished Professors. 

Their full titles are as follows:

  • Ron Buliung, Distinguished Professor of Geographies of Disability and Ableism
  • Robert Gerlai, The John Carlin Roder Distinguished Professor in Behavioural Neuroscience
  • Kent Moore, Distinguished Professor of Theoretical Geophysics of Climate Change

This recognition is a five-year term awarded to individuals with exceptional accomplishments and promise, who maintain an extraordinary level of activity in their research and scholarly work, and achieve excellence in their field in line with the University’s stated objectives and emerging priorities. We extend a hearty congratulations to Ron, Robert, and Kent!
