The UTM Procurement department aims to achieve “Best Value” in the acquisition of goods and services, and provide support and advice to staff, faculty and suppliers in the execution of "open, fair and transparent" procurement practices.
The information on this website is intended to provide the Mississauga campus community and suppliers with important tools and communication concerning:
- procurement policy, programs, and services
- approved suppliers, and how to do business with UTM
- procurement references and resources
Submitting a Competitive Procurement Request at UTM
Purchases greater than $100,000 must be publicly tendered through an open competitive procurement process (e.g., Request for Proposal) to comply with internal and external regulatory requirements.
To initiate this process:
- Complete the Competitive Procurement Intake Form using your UTORid to log in through Bonfire, the University’s e-procurement platform.
- Once submitted, a Procurement Officer will contact you to review your requirements and guide you through the University’s open competitive procurement process.
