Spearker Bio:
Kerry Buck served as a career diplomat for thirty years, including appointments as Canada’s Ambassador to NATO, Political Director, and Assistant Deputy Minister for International Security, Africa, Latin America, Afghanistan, and the Middle East. Throughout her career, she represented Canada at the G7, NATO, and the United Nations, negotiating on issues including human rights, security, humanitarian law, and disarmament.
Outside of Global Affairs Canada (GAC), Kerry served, among other positions, in the Privy Council Office as Director of Operations for Machinery of Government Secretariat responsible for Cabinet and Ministerial mandates. Kerry holds degrees from the University of Western Ontario (BA Hons, Political Science) and McGill University (LLB, BCL).
