About Me

Mentorship for me, is about coming full circle. Having witnessed how important mentorship has been on my own journey, I feel strongly about sharing what I have learned (and still continue to learn) with others, particularly as it was not that long ago that I was faced with the challenge of finding my way in the world after completing undergrad at UTM in 2007. When I graduated I did not have a cemented idea of which way I wanted to go, however with effort and patience, and a willingness to explore, I found a path slowly emerge in front of me.

Since that time, I have learned a great deal, and feel that some of the mistakes I have made, and lessons I have learned could prove useful to a younger person plotting their course. Having experienced both triumphs and setbacks, have taught me the importance of perseverance particularly in the midst of difficulty.

I have found mentoring to be an enriching and educational experience for me. I often feel I take away a great deal from the relationship and I’m excited to hear when my mentees succeed in meeting their goals.
