Getting To Know...

Robert Reisz, UTM Biology Chair

Dr. Robert Reisz is a well known professor at the University of Toronto. Since 1975 he has taught Biology at the University of Toronto’s Mississauga Campus, and is the current Chair of the Biology Department. In recent years he has taught Human Anatomy and Physiology (BIO210Y5), Major Features of Vertebrate Evolution (BIO356H5). Dr. Reisz is also an Associate at the Royal Ontario Museum, the Carnegie Museum of National History of Chicago, and the Field Museum of Natural History in Chicago. Recently, Areej Javed, a Biology Major here at UTM, had the opportunity to sit down with Robert to learn more about paleontology and discuss some of his memorable moments as a researcher.
