The Biology Undergraduate Community: The Erindale Biology Society

EBS 2024-2025

The Erindale Biology Society is a student-led academic society where the field of Biology is not only explored, but also developed. We aim to provide various services, networking opportunities, and resources to engage UTM students with UTM Biology faculty members, tri-campus graduate students, and other undergraduate students. Our aim is to support students through their undergraduate career, with a focus on career exploration and research opportunities events including our Annual Meet the Professor Night, Meet the Graduate Night, Meet the ROP Night Healthcare Forum, UTM Undergraduate Research Symposium, and most recently, our multi-event Meet the Labs Series. Through these events, we aim to expand UTM students' professional network and connect them with both on-campus and off-campus opportunities.

At the UTM campus, we extensively collaborate with the Department of Biology, UTM Student Union, Erindale Chemical & Physical Sciences Society, Undergraduate Paleontology Club, and the UTM Career Centre. In addition, our off-campus partners include Community of Support at the University of Toronto Faculty of Medicine, Trillium Health Partners, and the Interprofessional Healthcare Students' Association.
