Martha Balaguera wins the Hayward R. Alker Award

Martha Balaguera, a new Assistant Professor joining us in July 2018, has won the 2018 Hayward R. Alker Award. The Award, given by APSA’s Interpretive Methodologies and Methods Conference Group, recognizes the APSA conference paper by a Ph.D. student that best demonstrates the uses of interpretive methodologies and methods for the study of the political.

Professor Kotsovilis wins teaching award

Professor Spyridon Kotsovilis is a winner of the 2018 Superior Teaching Award. The Superior Teaching Awards recognize some of the Faculty of Arts & Science’s most exceptional sessional lecturers and graduate student course instructors for their contributions to undergraduate education. David Cameron, dean of the Faculty of Arts & Science, presented the  awards on April 19.
