UTM Community Conversations (Postponed)

Alexandra Gillespie

Update for October 10, 2023:

Dear colleagues,

I have to postpone today’s two planned community conversations due to illness. I do so with real regret: I was looking forward to this chance to connect. Thanks to all of those who sent in questions: we will share details of the rescheduled meetings shortly.

Best wishes,

Alex

Share ideas. Preview the campus’ future. See familiar faces – and connect with new colleagues, too.

All staff, faculty, and librarians are warmly invited to join two UTM conversations, hosted in person by Vice-President and Principal Alexandra Gillespie in room 120 of the Instructional Centre on 10 October from, respectively, 11:00 am to 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.

The first will focus on faculty and librarians, and the second on staff. But both conversations will cover much of the same ground and celebrate many of the same accomplishments: everyone is welcome to attend either or both.

Together, we’ll discuss – and invite ideas about – UTM’s work for the years ahead, including in research and teaching, student services and support, budget and space planning, and more. We’ll also talk about how our campus has changed during and after the pandemic emergency – and how that change opens new opportunities to deliver on commitments of our Strategic Framework

RSVP to attend here. We have a packed agenda planned, though you’re welcome to submit questions here to shape the discussion by 6 October.
