Harold Sonny Ladoo Book Prize for Creative Writing English and Drama Any No Awarded to a full-time or part-time UofT Mississauga student with outstanding creative writing.  Submissions are reviewed by a committee in the Department of English & Drama and the winning submission(s) are housed in the UofT Mississauga Library.

Sobanski-Armstrong Scholarship General Graduating Year Yes Awarded to a full-time undergraduate UofT Mississauga student who is applying to medical school in Canada.  Preference is given to students applying to the undergraduate Medical Education Program at the University of Toronto.  Second preference is given to students entering a graduate program in a health science, or science discipline with a health application, at the University of Toronto.  Academic merit and financial need is also considered.

Snil “Sunny” Sahanan Memorial Scholarship Anthropology Year 2 and higher Yes Awarded to a full-time UofT Mississauga student enrolled in an Anthropology Specialist, Major or Minor Program.  The student should have a record of social activism and is required to write an essay on “the importance of non-violence in international relations and world peace.”
