Mahdi Alani

Mahdi Alani is a fourth-year computer science student at the UTM with interests in Data engineering and machine learning. He joined the Ramsey Lab for Environmental Archaeology to gain practical experience with machine learning and to develop a deeper understanding of how models behave in real classification tasks. Mahdi is especially interested in computer vision and was drawn to the challenge of applying these methods to archaeological plant imagery. His goal is to build stronger technical skills while contributing to ongoing research.
