Leila Nie

Leila Nie (she/her) is a fifth-year undergraduate student at UTM, specializing in biological anthropology and curatorial studies. Leila is interested in the behavioural ecology of primates, and the importance of diet within human-plant-based interactions. The RLEA’s research with paleoethnobotany, particularly the reconstruction human dietary history is especially interesting to her. Leila hopes to learn more through the collaboration with her peers in a lab setting.
