Eric Ye

Eric is a second-year undergraduate student studying Computer Science and Mathematical Sciences. His research interests are centered on different branching applications of machine-learning networks, and the accessibility of deep-learning and database topics. Eric is fascinated by the inter-disciplinary application of CNNs in the RLEA's phytolith classification research, and he is hopeful to learn more about why backpropagation in CNNs like VGG and ResNet are more practical for processing and categorizing microscope images.
