Professor Olive’s research interests and teaching focus on environmental justice; environmental policy in Canada and the U.S. Recent projects have included investigations of the political ecology of the Bakken Formation; Ontario landowners and endangered species conservation; fracking in Canada; and Canada-US transboundary environmental policy & governance.
