Meet Our R-BLISS Community Advisors

Meet Our Community Advisors

We are excited to announce that we are working with Adebola Adefioye (MA, RECE) and Mabel Appiah-Kubi (ERW, RECE) as Community Advisors on our new R-BLISS project (Black and Indigenous Supports for Social-Emotional Development). Adebola and Mabel are advising on an upcoming training promoting Black children’s social-emotional development and mental health and a needs assessment to gain a better understanding of the current strengths and needs of Black families.

The training will be designed for early years and child care educators. Participants will engage in interactive sessions and walk away with effective strategies to help children thrive and be happy, healthy, and kind. Educators will also learn additional strategies to support their own well-being while joining a network of supportive peers.
