Beautiful Mind Day
On Wednesday, May 3rd the CCDMP's community partner Erin Mills Connects (EMC) hosted Beautiful Mind Day at the new Churchill Meadows Community Centre & Mattamy Sports Park.
Beautiful Minds is a field trip to “Celebrate the Mind and Empower Young People to Be Leaders.” This event was an opportunity for schools in West Mississauga to send up to 12 students in Grades 4–8 to learn about mental health and gain skills to maintain well-being using the evidence-based MindUP program. Our CCDMP team helped facilitate MindUP curriculum activities with 158 students and staff who participated at the event.
