Details & Registration for the Frontiers of Innovation Conference
The Frontiers of Innovation Conference Poster Competition invites current University of Toronto undergraduate, graduate, and PhD students to explore ideas related to quantum computing and its applications, implications, and future directions. Submissions may be technical, applied, conceptual, or exploratory, and may draw from any discipline.
Submissions must:
- Present a clear idea, question, or insight
- Demonstrate original thinking and thoughtful analysis
- Communicate effectively to a non-specialist audience; part of the judging rubric will focus on how well participants communicate the problem/idea/findings to a judge or attendee without deep quantum knowledge
Conceptual, technical, interdisciplinary, and application focused submissions are equally welcome and encouraged.

Quantum Computing Poster Competition
RULES
- Open to current University of Toronto undergraduate and graduate (master’s and PhD) students
- Individual or team submissions (teams up to 5 students)
- Online submissions must be a completed poster broadly related to quantum computing
- 48" x 36" without bleeds
- 48.25" by 36.25" if utilizing artwork bleeds (i.e. 0.25" bleeds)
- All participants must also register and plan to attend the Frontiers of Innovation Conference
- If selected to present, ALL presenters must attend the entirety of the Conference (prizes will be awarded at the end of the event)
- IMI & the BIGDataAIHUB will provide poster printing & setup
KEY DATES
- Participants must register for the competition by: March 6
- Poster Submissions due by: March 13
- Poster Competition & Conference: March 28
PRIZES
- 1st Place: $1,500
- 2nd Place: $1,000
- 3rd Place: $500
* Students must register for both the Competition and the Conference *
