Our very own Associate Professor of Economics Lee Bailey was featured on the UTM website for his board game learning technique, which was designed to help students in his summer ECO100Y course better understand macroeconomics. Lee Bailey along with Teaching Assistant Gail Hu and Educational Developer Diane Ashbourne, assisted in the success of this active learning exercise. To view the full story, click here.

Starting in the May-August 2017 summer semester, the Department of Economics St George, will split the full year 1.0 FCE course ECO100Y1 – Introduction to Economics into two half year 0.5 FCE courses: ECO101H1 – Principles of Microeconomics and ECO102H1 – Principles of Macroeconomics.

The Department of Economics is hosting an Information Session for the ECO400Y Internship Course on Monday, February 6, 2017 at 5:15 pm.  Students who are interested in attending the Information Sesion can look forward to learning more about:
