Congratulations to Ph.D. student Mark MacDougall (Reisz Lab) for his recent paper in Journal of Vertebrate Paleontology. This paper describes and names a new reptile from the Early Permian (290 Ma) at the Richards Spur locality of Oklahoma. The new reptile provides a rare glimpse into the early stages of parareptile evolution and adds to the immense terrestrial tetrapod diversity found at Richards Spur.

Congratulations, Mark!
