217° left 145° 1.2 m/s - yes - Butterfly flapped up to 8 m and then flapped back down, encountered a thermal and started circling and soaring, climbed to 130 m, before it left the thermal and began gliding back down.  WW:  Radar was detecting butterfly-like targets up to an altitude of 245 m.  Vultures were soaring at 60 m.

283 D. plexippus 11:05 0.3 m flap straight level 217° left - - 22.5°C yes - Butterfly stayed close to the ground.  A foraging D. plexippus and a flock of vultures were also seen.
