More about unpublished field data.  Pipevine Swallowtails were observed migrating in Georgia (see 1987 and 1988 field data) and Texas.  Buckeye Butterflies (see 1987 and 1988 field data) and Gulf Fritillaries were observed migrating by soaring flight in Georgia in 1986.  Red Admirals were observed soaring in southern Ontario and Texas.  Last Fall I announced my plans to make all of my unpublished field observations of migratory flight behaviour of Monarch Butterflies, Pipevine Swallowtails, Buckeye Butterflies, Cloudless Sulphurs , Gulf Fritillaries, Red Admirals, Saddlebag Dragonflies, and other species available on Tactics and Vectors.  I had hoped to have the data on-line by early 1998 but things have worked out differently It's taking about three to four times longer than planned, and I suspect that I will still be entering data well into 1999.  I can only plead for patience.  The Georgia 1988  field observations were put on-line in February  1998 and the Georgia 1987 field observations went on-line in August 1988.  The Georgia 1986 data,  the Texas 1982, 1983, and 1984 data, and my Ontario data  will be put on-line as soon as possible.

I may have to purchase one of these at a fire sale to handle the mass of field observations, data analysis, and figures of flight vectors, etc., that flood into the Tactics and Vectors database each fall.  It could happen.
