straight descend,
level
244° left 172° 1.6 m/s - - - Butterfly glided down and then began flapping.  I failed to record the starting altitude of glide.
277 D. plexippus 10:21 1 m flap straight,
variable
level,
landed
289° left - - - - - Butterfly was probably foraging.  It investigated plants and then landed.  Two more low-flying D. plexippus also seen.
278 D. plexippus 10:21 1 m flap straight level 210° - 172° 2.0 m/s - - - -
279 D. plexippus 10:25 - flap straight

landed
262° 262° - - 18.0°C - - Butterfly was flying low, but I failed to record it's altitude.  Four more D. plexippus were seen flying low in same direction, one was flying low.  Some foragers were also seen.
280 D. plexippus 10:28 8 m flap,
soar
straight climb 245° 234° 114° 0.5 m/s - yes - Butterfly climbed toward trees, encountered a thermal, and began soaring straight. High scans with binoculars were not productive.

W
- 142° 1.3 m/s - - - Butterfly probably was foraging.  It landed on runway, took off again and climbed to 4 m, then descended to 1 m and turned towards the W.  Two more D. plexippus were seen, one of which also flew up and then descended.
