Soo Min Toh

Professor Soo Min Toh
On this edition of VIEW to the U podcast, Professor Soo Min Toh talks about, among other things, the research that she has done in gender and the workplace, particularly in the area of women in leadership roles, something that has particular relevance for Soo Min’s own current situation: in the summer of 2017, she took on the role of Director at University of Toronto Mississauga’s Institute for Management & Innovation (IMI), where she is helping to foster this expansive team, which boasts no less than 6 graduate professional programs, the home of dozens of faculty members, some cross-appointed over eight of UTM’s departments, and nearly 30 administrative staff, for continued success and future development as IMI continues to evolve.

We also cover a range of topics in relation to scholarship, such as the work Soo Min has done in expatriate management, the integration of foreign-trained professionals within organizations, and, because it’s a word that gets used a lot, what “innovation” means to her.
