Researcher Professional Development Day & Celebration of Books 2019

Graduate students, faculty and staff are invited to the inaugural Researcher Professional Development Day.
Co-sponsored by the Office of the Vice-Principal, Research and the UTM Library, Researcher PD Day offers a selection of information sessions.
Topics have been chosen to aid researcher success and provide insight into research-relevant subjects.
Information sessions range from harnessing the power of social media for knowledge mobilization, to identifying and avoiding predatory journals, and more.

Celebration of Books (REGISTER HERE)
April 23, 2019 - 3 to 5 pm Grand Hall, new north building
Established in 2014, the Celebration of Books is an annual presentation of books authored by UofT Mississauga faculty. This event gives the UTM community the opportunity to learn first-hand from the authors about their books and their research interests.
This year's celebration showcases 16 books published between 2017 and 2019. These books represent the authors' investment in and commitment to contributing new knowledge for the future.
