Elisa Tersigni

Senior Research Associate, Collaborative Digital Research Space (CDRS)

Dr. Elisa Tersigni is the Senior Research Associate at the Collaborative Digital Research Space (CDRS), University of Toronto Mississauga. Before joining CDRS, she held digital humanities postdoctoral fellowships at the University of Manchester, Folger Shakespeare Library, University of Toronto, and Northeastern University. Elisa completed her PhD in English and Book History & Print Culture at the University of Toronto. Her research spans digital humanities, early modern literature and history, food studies, book history, book arts, and DEI. She is currently writing a book on early modern women’s recipe books, Converting Cuisine: The Christianization of Jewish and Islamic Foods in Early Modern Europe, and is also a practicing book artist and musician. She’s available for consultations about digital humanities research and pedagogy.
