What does the VP&P Office Do?

The Office of the Vice-President and Principal (OVP&P) supports the effective management of UTM’s chief executive portfolio. Alongside our students, colleagues, and partners, we help shape the campus’ strategy, vision, and goals; lead signature initiatives for university and communal impact; and champion the campus’s mission publicly, both to internal stakeholders across U of T and to members of local, national, and international communities.

We embrace a fundamentally collaborative spirit. That means we love to work with people across the university and beyond to empower major plans and projects in all areas of campus life: from teaching, learning, and research to communications, advancement, and student services, from budget, safety, and capital development to HR, partnerships, and EDI.

Buoyed by our values of truth, openness, and reciprocity, we aim to realize priorities shared by the campus as a whole, from UTM’s Strategic Framework: to foster student success, and enable research discovery and impact; to empower collaboration and belonging, and build efficient and sustainable operations; and to embrace our place, locally and globally.
