More About Community Reflection Forums and the Discussion Paper
During May 2021, U of T Mississauga Vice-President and Principal Alexandra Gillespie hosted a series of community reflection forums, designed to provide a moment to breathe and think, to listen and learn: to consider what the pandemic has shown about our diverse values—and about what UTM does, or could do better, to represent them. Engaging students and staff, faculty and librarians, researchers and postdocs, the forums tried to open another space for people to articulate what matters most to them.
The community feedback from those forums formed the basis for the Discussion Paper: Connection, Transparency, Care.
