UTM Art50 is a celebration of the Arts on campus, in honour of UTM's 50th anniversary! Check out the many exciting events taking place all over campus. The day will feature live theatre performances, music, art workshops and displays, a short-film competition, and much more. We hope you'll join us for the closing events: a free BBQ as we marvel at a musical light show of UTM's enchanted forest.

Art-Making Station and Personal Art Installation

Location:  Outside Kaneff/Blackwood CCIT Atrium

  • Taking place from 12pm to 5pm

Led by students from UTM Art Club


OPH Front Lawn                               

Vinyl Feather Wings Mural, Collaborative/Active Art Installation

Residence students and staff to create a mural that reflects UTM’s nature and wildlife while also acknowledging the history of the sacred Indigenous land that the University of Toronto Mississauga operates on and the Indigenous peoples who still reside here. The feather wings represent positive space through their rainbow colour; and diversity, as students will personalize each feather and place it on the mural.

  • Displays of student work (excerpts from written work, installations, photographs) around campus, to create a campus-wide gallery
