Benefits of Student Group CCR Recognition

The Co-Curricular Record is an official University of Toronto document that highlights your skill development outside of the classroom. There are a wide variety of CCR opportunities offered at UTM, including leadership, volunteer, work-study, mentorship, and many other opportunities that will help you develop and refine your skills.

The CCR has many benefits and can help you make the most out of your university experience beyond your academics. It allows you to network and build connections, find opportunities for involvement on campus, connect your involvement with your career prospects, and allows you to be more successful in your studies all while getting recognized!

Your Co-Curricular Record can be an excellent aid in building your resume. This official UofT document consisting of valuable experiences and competencies can also be showcased when applying for jobs, internships, scholarships, awards, and further education. It’s like having a second transcript (minus the grades)!

CCR Recognition greatly benefits student clubs and groups at UTM as it gives students a chance to have their respective positions, responsibilities, and skill development showcased. The CCR Team is holding upcoming training for student groups to attend and learn more about the process of becoming CCR recognized. You can find more details about the CCR and register for a training session here: Co-Curricular Record | Centre for Student Engagement

Don’t hesitate to email us at ccr.utm@utoronto.ca if you have any questions! The CCR Team is here to support you!
