SOC440H5 Research Project in Criminology, Law and Society
This is a seminar course where students pursue advanced research supervised by a Criminology, Law and Society (CLS) faculty member. Students develop a research proposal, conduct independent research, analyze data and present findings. Admission by academic merit and preference given to eligible CLS Specialists and Majors.
Prerequisite: SOC209H5 and (SOC205H5 or SOC231H5) and SOC221H5 and SOC222H5 and 4th Year Standing and permission of instructor
Note:
- This half credit (0.5) course is offered over the full academic year and classes are held bi-weekly.
- Students cannot take SOC439H5Y and SOC440H5Y in the same academic year.
